Todd Carroll Ex-FBI Executive Joins CybelAngel

Former FBI cyber intelligence leader takes on new role focused on helping U.S. enterprises monitor digital threats and data leaks with CybelAngel. NEW YORK, Feb. 26, 2019 — CybelAngel, the leading digital risk management platform providing superior threat intelligence to some of the world’s largest brands, announced today that veteran cybersecurity executive Todd Carroll has joined as Vice President of Cyber Operations. Carroll brings with him over 20 years of experience in the FBI’s cyber, counterintelligence, and counterterrorism branches. Carroll will be instrumental in evangelizing CybelAngel’s data leak detection technology throughout North America, and will be responsible for managing the U.S. cyber operations unit. Carroll aims to help cement CybelAngel’s place as a staple technology within U.S. enterprises’ cybersecurity stacks. “CybelAngel’s motivations are fundamentally about protecting others, which is why my transition into this position after decades of public service is so satisfying.” said Carroll. Prior to joining CybelAngel, Carroll served as the Deputy Special Agent in Charge of the FBI’s fourth largest field office, in Chicago.
